Fear of Public Speaking

About once a week I get an email like..."Hi Paul, I'm not really afraid of speaking...I do pretty good...I think the audience gets something out of it...I just want to get to the next level."

Whoa partner!

"...not really...pretty good...I think..."

Sounds like comfort to me. A nice little place is Comfortville. Nice little speeches. Nice little handshakes. Nice little little comments. Nice little check (real little).

What's so dangerous about being a comfortable speaker?

Well, for starters you'll never breakthrough to the "great" or "awesome" level, you'll always be a "decent" speaker. You see, to really make a powerful impact, to really allow your words to contain the capacity for change, your confidence must be recognized and felt by the audience. And comfort won't do that for you.

From Comfort to Confidence...

Your missing link to the next level is confidence.

You already know how to put a great speech together and deliver it. (If you don't then click here.)

You already feel comfortable in front of a group.

You already hear, "Nice job."

But aren't you ready for..."That Rocked!!"

Aren't you ready for..."We've got to get you back again!"

Aren't you ready to leave Comfortville for more excitement?

Are you TRULY CONFIDENT? Can you feel it right now? I'm talking about an almost overwhelming feeling of positive anticipation for your next engagement?
